Auto-Magic!! Feminized Autoflowering - Fun and easy!

Don't be intimidated at the prospect of growing a few plants of your own.  It's easier than ever before.

Autoflowering-feminized strains are an fun way to ease into growing great cannabis.  Feminized means these beans are guaranteed girls and autoflowering means there is no special light cycle needed.

Just add a few T4 fluorescent lights for at least 12 hours a day and you are good to go. In the spring throw a few on a patio space amongst other vegetables and herbs.  They are ready to harvest in 65 -90 days from seed, depending on the strain.  Since they are so quick to finish expect only moderate yields but high satisfaction.

Citra Paradiso (Grapefruit x Sweet Skunk) from Chimera Seed Co.

This is the ultimate blend of BC elite citrus flavor, Grapefruit x Sweet Skunk. Around the world, there are a few plants that have been said to possess grapefruit scent, but after sampling them all I (Chimera) can attest that none is as strong or uniquely citrus as the 'original sweet pink grapefruit' clone, originally from the lower mainland of BC, but now grown all across the Canada. I have spotted her uniqueness and verified her presence all along the west coast in grow rooms and greenhouses as far south as California, and all over the EU- yes she is a plant with legs that clearly likes to travel. How can she have reached such distances in clone form? Simple, she performs well in different environments, produces a healthy harvest of truly sweet flowers and leaves a happy, giddy, playful feeling that is very conducive to daily consumption without leaving the consumer tired or sedated. Growers just want to grow this plant, because she gives back in spades for your efforts.

Her effects are cerebral and clear; she is ideal for distracting consumers from daily aches and pains, allowing them to go on with their days without feeling whipped and sedated. This is excellent socializing cannabis, a type that can be brought to a gathering and enjoyed by participants of all ages; she creates a vibrant and energetic headspace, well suited to focusing on a task and executing - be it garden chores, food preparation, or musical composition. Creativity just flows from this one naturally. This variety can be taken as early as after 9 weeks of flowering, but some plants extend up towards 70 days for full maturity and flower production to reach their resin potential. Individual plants have a range of citrus scents, encompassing grapefruit, lemon, and tangerine - truly the citrus cocktail of cannabis. These are respectable producers indoors and in greenhouses, and are possible in dryer climates with longer flowering seasons such as California, the Mediterranean, and and more equatorial climates. If you enjoy citrus flavored cannabis, these are an absolute must for your stable.

A beautiful bud with a levely deep hash fragrance and a smooth, smokey flavour.  This plant has a fantastic pine tree structure and easy to grow. What more can you ask for? How about potential for high yields with lots of resin.... Mmmmm I love the Afghani.

Soma Seed Co. - Amnesia Haze

About Soma

Back in 1967, I was working at IBM as a mail clerk in the office products division on Madison Avenue in NYC. Another employee helped me get some Marijuana rolled up in joints. Right after work, I walked down to the East River dressed in my three-piece suit and tie and lit up my first joint. I instantly fell in love with the calm feeling it brought to my whole being. I was 18 years old.

In the 45 years that passed since my first joint I have found cannabis to be one of the most positive forces in my life.

I started growing cannabis in 1971 in southern Vermont. I owned and ran a vegetarian restaurant and bakery. As I became more aware of my diet, a deeper knowledge of ecology and its effect on the enviroment came with the territory. This naturally led to my growing cannabis in an organic eco-friendly manner. From that point on, I have been finding different ways to make my thumbs greener.

This magnificent plant species has helped teach me the art of having and taking care of houseplants, the art of murturing, and the art of photography to name but a few. Far from being a demotivator, marijuana has become interwoven with many of my interests, and its influence has opened my mind to explore many I might have never other wise pursued. Although marijuana laws are never fair around the planet, I refuse to give up my right to have my sacrament and medicine constantly near me in the form of clothing, food, plants, paper and smoke. In this way I do my part to overgrow the whole darn place.

I have condensed and organized that advice here so it covers the garden from beginning to end, adding some new insights on the most up-to-date options for organic marijuana growing.

This book represents years of trying different growing methods to find which ones worked best and were the most biologically friendly.

May it help to make you and our planet greener.

Peace, Soma

Amnesia Haze

Amnesia Haze is a very complicated genetic cross. You have the magnificent South East Asian genetics, (Thai sticks, Cambodian, Laotian) of which were my all time favourites. Then you have the fine Jamaican Haze varieties with their high THC percentage and sharp flavour. It also has an Afghani-Hawaiian genetic crossed in, speeding up the flowering time and further enhancing the taste. The result is a strain that has won first place in 3 different cannabis contests in the Netherlands in the past 2 years, including The High Times Cannabis Cup 2004. Barney's Breakfast Bar won first place for the all-around Cannabis Cup with the Amnesia Haze that he got from me. It has continued to be one of his best sellers to this present date. For a grower the Amnesia Haze is a slight challenge, taking up to 13 weeks to finish flowering, but with the excellent yield and amazing high and taste, it is well worth it.
