Around the world, there are a few plants that have been said to possess grapefruit scent, but after sampling them all I (Chimera) can attest that none is as strong or uniquely citrus as the 'original sweet pink grapefruit' clone, originally from the lower mainland of BC, but now grown all across the Canada. I have spotted her uniqueness and verified her presence all along the west coast in grow rooms and greenhouses as far south as California, and all over the EU- yes she is a plant with legs that clearly likes to travel. Back in 1967, I was working at IBM as a mail clerk in the office products division on Madison Avenue in NYC. Another employee helped me get some Marijuana rolled up in joints. Right after work, I walked down to the East River dressed in my three-piece suit and tie and lit up my first joint. I instantly fell in love with the calm feeling it brought to my whole being. I was 18 years old.

In the 45 years that passed since my first joint I have found cannabis to be one of the most positive forces in my life.

I started growing cannabis in 1971 in southern Vermont. I owned and ran a vegetarian restaurant and bakery. As I became more aware of my diet, a deeper knowledge of ecology and its effect on the enviroment came with the territory. This naturally led to my growing cannabis in an organic eco-friendly manner. From that point on, I have been finding different ways to make my thumbs greener.

This magnificent plant species has helped teach me the art of having and taking care of houseplants, the art of murturing, and the art of photography to name but a few. Far from being a demotivator, marijuana has become interwoven with many of my interests, and its influence has opened my mind to explore many I might have never other wise pursued. Although marijuana laws are never fair around the planet, I refuse to give up my right to have my sacrament and medicine constantly near me in the form of clothing, food, plants, paper and smoke. In this way I do my part to overgrow the whole darn place.

Amnesia Haze

Amnesia Haze is a very complicated genetic cross. You have the magnificent South East Asian genetics, (Thai sticks, Cambodian, Laotian) of which were my all time favourites. Then you have the fine Jamaican Haze varieties with their high THC percentage and sharp flavour. It also has an Afghani-Hawaiian genetic crossed in, speeding up the flowering time and further enhancing the taste. The result is a strain that has won first place in 3 different cannabis contests in the Netherlands in the past 2 years, including The High Times Cannabis Cup 2004. Barney's Breakfast Bar won first place for the all-around Cannabis Cup with the Amnesia Haze that he got from me. It has continued to be one of his best sellers to this present date. For a grower the Amnesia Haze is a slight challenge, taking up to 13 weeks to finish flowering, but with the excellent yield and amazing high and taste, it is well worth it.

Purple Papaya - Ancestral Seeds

Genetic lineage inherited from Texada Timewarp, Pinewarp, A3 and Ancestral Indica. Big chunky buds with good mold resistance and good finishing times. Spicy indica fragrance with a heavy body stone. DNA Genetics started out growing in the late 80's in our home town of Hollywood, or as we say, Hollyweed, California... We would collect seeds from friends, family and, of course, those rare bag seeds from the best medicine we could get at the time. Chocolope Cannabis Seeds, which were originally named D-Line, are a novice grower's dream plant! With a uniquely heavy yield and large heavy nugs, she is extremely easy to grow. This Sativa heavy plant likes to grow tall so beware if space is an issue, however she can grow out with a little training.

We chose to cross our Original Chocolate Thai female with the Cannalope male, and then started backcrossing this to achieve a shorter flower time and still retain some of the Original Chocolate Thai qualities. What makes these Cannabis Seeds so special is that when you enjoy her you taste that chocolate you've been missing from the 80's! The Chocolope is the "ONE"! Not much haze, but you don't need it.

Mazar I Sharif

Grown around the desert towns of Balkh, Mazar-i-Sharif and Sheberghan in the far north of Afghanistan, close to the modern borders of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. This Mazar-i-Sharif strain produces the legendary hashish known as "Shirak-i-Mazar" and "Milk of Mazar". The people of these regions are a patchwork of Turkic, Tajik, Afghan and Pashtun tribes, and the history of Mazar-i-Sharif strains is likely to be equally complex. In fertile and well-irrigated soils these vigorous giants are capable of reaching 4 metres in height or more, and will produce a similarly immense yield of intensely resinous flowers. Traditionally harvested in the first half of December with the onset of the brutal Central Asian winter, Mazar-i-Sharif plants will enjoy cold conditions, including snow, and will turn a deep blood red in low temperatures. Growers favour leaving harvest as late as possible, sometimes into early January. Sieved "Milk of Mazar" garda is very resinous and so can be hand-pressed to make charas; it has a distinctively pungent, sweet aroma and a dreamily mellow high. Over-indulgence produces a mind-warping, immobilising and narcotic effect.

Delta 9 Cannabis Seeds

F.O.G. (Fruit of the Gods)non feminized 5 seeds per pack

Why the fruit of the gods? Well that was what came to mind the first time we smoked this wonderful strain. Even though it was a mostly sativa with strong haze elements coming from its mom, the legendary NL5 Haze, it had an incredibly fruity taste. From our first selection we went with the FOG 11 which is what we used to make all our next batches of seeds. 

This pheno was amazing, a fruity haze that under the right conditions goes a beautiful deep purple color. The strain comes from an old Nl5 haze pheno that was around Amsterdam in the late nineties. It was crossed with a skunk #1 father that came from seeds that were made in 1988. We were lucky as it was really tough to get them to germinate. 

The strain is mostly a sativa but still has a touch of indica in it from the northern lights. The plant is tall and does finish in 84 days but is well worth the wait as you will be rewarded by an incredibly strong smoke with an intense fruity flavor. With this strain we tend towards a medium to heavy feeding with the main boosters going in between week 4 and week 6. This one really likes water in the last two weeks of its cycle and takes a week hung upside down to dry. 

It tends to stretch a bit but likes to have a lot of space as it can get to over 1.5 meter's tall. This is a great medical strain as it really helps patients suffering from headaches or migraines. It is very cerebral in the structure of its high.
